Linksys IP Alarm Monitoring Solution

The IP Alarms "Linksys IP Alarm Monitoring Solution" is popular with Alarm Monitoring Centres, Alarm Companies and their Customers worldwide due to the low cost, simple "plug & play" installation. The solution is installed in a rapidly growing number of Alarm Monitoring Centres worldwide and it can even be used to communicate over IP with Monitoring Centres that do not support it. There are three different levels of support and operational modes:

Level 1
Virtual Receiver NZ
Full Support. The Monitoring Company has installed the IP Alarms IP Suite of software components and alarm signals are sent from the Linksys device, over the Internet directly to a software based Virtual Receiver at the Monitoring Centre.
Level 2
IP Alarms Data Centre
Partial Support. The Monitoring Company has installed the minimal software required to receive alarm signals from custom provisioned remote Linksys devices. Alarm signals are sent from the Linksys device, over the Internet, into the IP Alarms Data Centre and then forwarded on to the Monitoring Centre over IP into the custom receiving software provided by IP Alarms.
Level 3
VoIP Alarm NZ
No support. There are many reasons why a Monitoring Centre may not choose, or may be unable to support IP based solutions and the Linksys solution in particular. To overcome this problem on behalf of our Customers, signals are sent from the Linksys device, over the Internet, into the IP Alarms Data Centre and then forwarded on to the relevant Alarm Monitoring Centre over traditional PSTN landlines.

Monitoring Centres

As the popularity of VoIP increases, the ability to reliably receive alarm signals over the Internet without any call costs for the End User is becoming an important requirement for IP monitoring solutions. IP Alarms provide the most flexible, cost effective, professional VoIP compatible solution in New Zealand to help Alarm Companies and Monitoring Centres accomplish this goal.

The IP Alarms "Linksys IP Alarm Monitoring Solution" has built-in support for remote Video Verification. It has the ability to record from any number of IP Cameras the instant an alarm panel is activated. See our video verification page for more information.

Alarm Installers

The Linksys IP Alarm Monitoring Solution provides your company with the most powerful tool available to upgrade systems that currently use PSTN for transmitting alarms to your receivers.

The solution allows you to be very flexible in the way you approach potential Customers. Some Alarm Companies replace the Linksys stickers with a custom sticker and brand the device as their own. Others, that until now have only been able to provide monitoring service to subscribers in their local area, take full advantage of the nationwide "off the shelf" availability of the Linksys hardware and attract new Customers across the country to use their services on a "Monitoring Only" basis.
