The IP Alarms Diginet IP Communicator can be supplied in a 24v version so that it can easily be powered from your fire alarm equipment.
It has 16 digital inputs for easy connection to your panel outputs and it can transmit alarm signals to the Monitoring Centre over fixed wire IP or GPRS wireless networks. Both network paths can be fully supervised at whatever interval suits the particular application.
The Diginet v2 product is modular in design and comprises of a main board and optional ethernet, GSM or Zigbee boards. 24v versions are a special order for fire alarm applications but the overall operation of the device is not affected. Regardless of the network path, signals are transmitted from the fire alarm panel, through the Diginet device directly into Virtual Receiver software running at your Monitoring facility.
Where the GPRS add-on board is used for a dualpath solution, you can use the wireless network provider of your choice and choose the polling interval that best suits each individual site. IP Alarms charge a flat monthly rate for the use of the Virtual Receiver and do not charge for supervision.
