The DigiNet is a stand-alone IP adapter that connects to ANY alarm panel to allow sending of alarm signals
over the Internet. It uses standard DSL, cable or wireless broadband Internet and connects to the digicom outputs,
programmable outputs, relays, or as a last resort - the bell or strobe output of your panel. It differs from
all other IP Alarm adapters in that it uses the HTTP protocol to transmit alarm signals.
This means that you will not have to adjust any of the settings in your modem/router in order to get the
device working correctly.
Connection to our add-on GPRS board provides a robust dual path solution with both paths fully
supervised. The DigiNet can also connect to any panel RS232 port and supports 2-way serial communication.
It has 16 digital inputs and outputs, and add-on relay boards are available that allow the remote control
ancillary devices. Special interface software is provided to configure the board via a serial port.
Development of version 2 is well under way and due for release in 2010.
